Many years of research went into this breeding program, and hours spent on the
phone to AMHA and owners of specific horses with rare blood. The rarest blood and
the most evasive of them all is that of our Lippitt foundation mare - Lippitt Trixie.
|
The Rare Family of Lippitt Morgans number less than 2500 horses. The Lippitt
Family is the only family exclusively with NO outcrosses or outside influences from
other breeds, in the 20th and now into the 21st century! This allows these unique near extinct animals to boast about carrying the highest percentage of Justin
Morgan’s blood available in the Morgan horse today. It is imperative that breeders
understand that weight of responsibility given to them in seeing that this family
continues for future generations.
At Randallane Morgans, we are dedicated to preserving the 1/25th of the Lippitt gene pool, that of Lippitt Trixie.
We offer, the Stillwater Rosemary son, Randallane Genesis at stud. We also have the mares Dew Meadow
Tippecanoe Too and Rosemary’s Baby. Tippe is one of only two daughters from Valley Head Marymoro. Tippe,
has produced the sons: Randallane Matrix, Randallane New Dimension (both by Hawk Ridge Elidon), also
Randallane Red Oracle and Randallane Fusion (by Genesis). Matrix has given us Randallane Testa Rosa, out of
Rosemary’s Baby, he carries carries ALL 25 foundation horses behind him for the ultimate in diversity. He will be
crossed to our Genesis daughters. Between Genesis and Testa Rosa, we have the ability to offer the Lippitt
breeders and future generations, the Lippitt Trixie influence. Testa Rosa will stand to a couple of mares in 2007.
This year brought three new additions, a chestnut filly -
Randallane Mercedes (Randallane Genesis x Rosemary's Baby), a bay colt -
Randallane Mirage (Randallane Genesis x Madrona April Twilight),
and a dark bay colt - Randallane Contour (Randallane Genesis x Dew Meadow Tippecanoe
Too).
Mercedes will be kept for our breeding program, the two colts are
offered to you for your breeding and/or showing farm.
Genesis is a Stillwater Rosemary son and is supports the majority of weight in our
breeding program. He is the combination of all the very best
qualities of the old Lippitt Morgans. He has such a kind
disposition, and I count him a true friend. He looks out for me.
His wins include the Justin Morgan Standard Class, Sire and Get,
and Western Pleasure Champion (2x's), and Res. Road Hack
Champion. He has produced champions such as Annaray Magic
Justice (Grand Champion Stallion 2000 as a 2 year old and again
in 2003) owned by Cindi Cappobianco, Randallane Crescent
Unity (Res. Grand CH Mare 2003) owned by Clark and Chantelle
Waldron, Randallane Genevieve (Jr. Champion Mare 2000, 2001 and 2002) owned by
Audrey Morse Garcia, and Belyea Genesis Jasmine (2001 Reserve Jr. Champion Mare)
owned by Denise Erway.
The Genesis son, Randallane Fusion was crowned Reserve Champion
Stallion at 2007 Morgan Heritage Days.
We’ve had many foals spanning 23 years. And yet, I think the best are still yet to come. Since I can only keep
just so many horses in my own barn, I have several friends/breeders that are helping me achieve my goals and
dreams, while at the same time achieving their own. I owe so much to them. Denise Erway with Belyea
Genesis Jasmine and Randallane Belyea Liberty; Lisa Godard with her mares Randallane Paradigm, Randallane
Ascension; Clark and Chantelle Waldron with Randallane Crescent Unity; Cynthia Capobianco with Annaray Magic
Justice and Randallane Paradox; Jenn Lamastro with Randallane Raven's Exodus; Audrey Morse Garcia with
Randallane Genevieve; and Anne Millet with Hannah Joy's Reverie; Lois Jalava and Eunice Pappas with Dragonfly
Seduction; and Pat Huckery with Belyea Jubilation.
These breeders of the Lippitt will go down in Lippitt history. They are absolutely committed to seeing that future
generations will have the Lippitt Trixie line, and the greatest diversity in the Lippitt gene pool. My sincere
appreciation and respect goes to each one of these and, in fact, all Lippitt breeders. We'd also like to thank the
Lippitt breeders, and Morgan breeders alike, who have used Genesis on their mares and have brought him into
their own breeding program. |
Even now though, we are looking for much more help. So if you are up for the
challenge and/or looking for a direction for your breeding program, we welcome you to
join us, as breeders, for the Lippitt Morgan family’s survival.
Special thanks to all of the owners of Randallane, and Randallane bred
horses competing and winning at this year's LCS. I'm so proud of you all.
